ONE Voice Community Choir, which has been running for several years, took an enforced break over lockdown but, following the lifting of restrictions in mid-July, has now re-formed.
“After almost 18 months away, the singers are back and glad to be together again,” said Lee Ingram who runs the choir.
“One Voice is based on good, uplifting songs that everyone loves to sing – with a strong emphasis on fun and the social aspect. With popular songs ranging from 1930s to the present day and with plenty of recognisable ‘60s and ‘70s hits, show tunes and fun numbers, there’s something for everyone.
“There are no auditions and an ability to read music is not required.
“The local meeting takes place on Wednesday afternoons at Frome cricket club. It is advised that face coverings are worn when entering and exiting the building. Chairs are well-spaced and there is plenty of ventilation.
“Are you interested in joining the choir? It’s fun, friendly and feel-good!”
