The residents at Hanover Gardens Frome have recently secured grant funding from Anchor Hanover to help in the redecorating of their pavilion, which they use for many social events.
The pavilion has had a new insulated ceiling and last week a group of residents got together to decorate the inside. Lorna Carr, who has held the longest tenancy said, “I have lived here for 21 years at Hanover Gardens and have enjoyed my time. It is wonderful to have a new group of residents who are enthusiastic to do things and get involved and on behalf of those less able, I am very grateful. There is a wonderful community atmosphere here and it is a lovely place to live.”
This year is the 50th anniversary of the estate and residents are busy planning a summer party.
