Orchardleigh Golf Club held their annual presentation evening at the Orangery on Saturday 17th November.
The golf club reports, “The event which was well attended, was compered by Jim Worsley the Club chairman and Seniors’ captain. Everyone sat down to an excellent three-course meal, during which the prizes and cups were presented. Neil McGuinness the Club Captain gave his speech and broke into song with his version of “My Way” causing much amusement and a huge applause.
“During the evening it was announced that the club as a whole had raised a fantastic £19,101.00 for the nominated charities during the Captains’ year. A cheque for £14,325.75 was presented to Dorothy House and another for £4,775.25 to Fair Frome.
