Critchill School has been awarded ‘Outstanding’ in all areas by Ofsted at its recent inspection at the end of last year.
The school, which is a part of the Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership, caters to pupils with complex and severe learning needs.
Headteacher Emma West said, “Pupils demonstrated exceptionally strong attitudes to their learning throughout the inspection and were excellent ambassadors for the school. Staff work continuously to enhance provision at the school. I am delighted with the personalised nature of the report and how it captures the school’s values and aspirations for children and young people.”
Executive headteacher Sophie Addison said, “The school has undergone rapid and sustained improvement since its last graded inspection in 2018, with a particular focus on providing pupils with a ‘profoundly personalised’ curriculum and preparing all young people for adulthood. We are absolutely thrilled to have been recognised as ‘Outstanding’ in all areas.”
The inspection report can be read in full on the school and Ofsted websites.
