The Golden Goose’s ‘closing and relocation sale’ is nearly over.
The shop will be relocating to Palmer Street, just around the corner in St Catherines.
“Opening in late August it will be under new ownership and we wish them well in continuing with the Golden Goose selection of design led gifts and accessories,” said present owners, Mary and Tony Gibson who have run the popular shop for 18 years.
“We are retiring this year and the lease is up too. Over the last 18 years of trading here in St Catherines it has been a great time seeing Frome regenerate its shopping experience, from our start high on Catherine Hill in 2002 and then here to Stony Street in 2005
“Along with other traders, we helped to develop events and the installation of the St Catherine’s entrance archway.
“A very big thank you to everyone who has made all this happen and particularly our wonderful customers. It’s been an honour to have traded in a town with such personality and heart.
“Wishing you all goodbye, good luck and good fortune.”
