THE submission deadline for the Active and In Touch exhibition ‘Portrayal of a Pandemic’ closes on Friday 4th June.
Tracey Rawlins, community fundraiser for A&IT said, “There are already some wonderful submissions in many forms including sculpture, textiles, photography, mixed media, poetry and painting. Artists are invited to send their artwork which needs to portray the pandemic in some way. It may show loneliness and isolation or a positive experience over the last year, perhaps a discovery of nature or time with family.
“The exhibition will be at Black Swan Arts from 3rd – 12th September.
“Artwork will be selected by an illustrious panel of judges who will choose some of the best entries to go forward to the Active and In Touch calendar which will be available in September.
“There is no charge to enter. Please submit artwork by emailing through a jpeg photograph by Friday 4th June or call the charity if you need help. There are three age categories: Under 12’s, Under 18’s and Adults. For full details visit www.activeandintouch.org/event-information/
