FROME Town Council is gathering views on what people want from Frome’s Victoria Park, starting with a free event on Saturday.
Local people are invited to share a cup of tea and join in with free fun activities at the park on Saturday 16th March from 11.00am-3.00pm. The event will enable the council to better understand how people currently use the park in order to help shape decisions about what facilities are provided in the future.
Frome Town Council community projects officer, Sarah Hobbs explained, “We want to talk to as many local people as possible about whether they visit the park and what they like to do there. We will be running free activities and offering tea and cake to anyone who would like to drop in and have a chat about the park with us.”
People unable to visit on the day should visit the Frome Town Council website www.frome-tc.gov.uk for more information on how to share your views.
“Alternatively, I would be delighted to have a chat over the phone on 01373 475574”, said Sarah.
