WHEN Nicki Hockedy (nee Davis) and her peer group left Frome College in 1979, it was done without any of the pomp and ceremony afforded to pupils today when they finish compulsory education. As those same pupils now approach their 50th birthdays that is about to change!
Nicki has organised a party to celebrate reaching their half century, for Saturday 13th April and Nicki would like to see as many of her old school friends there as possible.
The event is being held at Orchardleigh Golf Club and the ticket price includes a buffet and live band, as well as access to a tuck shop. There will also be a disco and fireworks, courtesy of ex-pupils Pete Dayman Johns and Alan Christie. Partners are welcome at this event and tickets are available now for £20 each.
