ACTORS in period dress caused a stir in the centre of Frome last week.
Cast and crew, and a horse-drawn carriage, descended on the area surrounding St John’s Church to film a yet to be confirmed period drama.
A source on the film set told Frome Times that filming was for an adaptation of a Bronte sisters’ classic.
However, there is speculation online that the filming was for a new series of ‘Sanditon’ – a period drama based on Jane Austen’s last unfinished novel, which first aired on ITV in 2019.
