A NUMBER of exhibitions are opening at Black Swan Arts in Frome in the coming weeks, including photography, textiles and printing.
Divas Cafe at the gallery on Bridge Street will see an exhibition by local photographer Mahtola Eagle-Lippiatt, showcasing dramatic photos of the natural world that he has taken around the world over the past three years. Mahtola’s exhibition will run from Thursday 25th August to 20th October. Find out more about him at www.mahphotographs.com
Then on Monday 29th August, in the pop-up studio, textile artist, Mary Housley, will exhibit her newest work including felt bowls, textile brooches, small books with textile covers, and a variety of framed work and small hangings.
On 10th September print artist Paul Minott will begin his month-long exhibition ‘Pretty Abstract’ in the main gallery. Minott’s prints are made with geometric shapes arranged to explore complementary and contrasting shape and colour. See examples of his work at
