The development of Edventure’s community plant nursery in Mells is fully under way.
Edventure’s start up students said, “Last week we ran our first volunteer day which was a great success! Most of our participants had recently moved to Frome and wanted to get involved in the community and meet new people. They were very enthusiastic and energetic, so we were able to get loads of work done to push our project forward. It was a thoroughly enjoyable and productive day, the sun was shining and spirits were high!
“If you would like to join one of the many hands helping a meaningful project lift off the ground, we have one more session coming up on Tuesday 29th October, 10am-2.30pm.
“No experience is necessary, volunteers can share their skills while socialising with like-minded people. Please dress for the weather and bring outdoor footwear. There will be free hot drinks and cake, but please bring your own lunch.

“The 184 bus from Frome Market Place stops just up the road from the gardens, or if you are travelling by car, we encourage ride shares. If transport is an issue, get in touch with us!
“Although you are welcome to just turn up on the day, it would help us to know numbers coming so, if possible, please let us know if you intend to come!
