The members of the Pod Youth Club received an invitation to this year’s Children in Need event after successfully receiving funding from the charity.
The Pod children, families and staff were delighted to attend this great event which took place at Wookey Hole on Friday 14th November.
The Pod youth club opened in November 2013 and welcomes children with additional needs from 10-18 years old. The funds the club have received from Children in Need and other local charities like the Frome Lions Club and Aster communities have secured the services they are able to offer until September 2015.
The youth club has been well attended and the trustees are confident further funding will be secured and the Pod will have a long term future.
