Get on board with the legendary Gerry & The Pacemakers for what must be one of their last national tours.
‘Gerry Cross The Mersey’ will be at the Cheese & Grain on Saturday 12th March.
One of the true survivors from the golden age of pop music, Gerry kept the Beatles off top spot on more than one occasion with three consecutive number ones.
Along with his band the Pacemakers, he was responsible for some of the biggest hits of the 60s including ‘How Do You Do It’, ‘I Like it’, ‘Ferry Cross the Mersey’, ‘I’m the One’, ‘It’s Alright’, ‘Don’t Let the Sun Catch You Crying’, and the immortal ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’.
Starting at the same time as close friends, The Beatles, they worked the same Liverpool-Hamburg circuit before becoming Brian Epstein’s second signing in 1962.
Tickets for the performance on 12th March are £20.50 Advance £23 doors.
