Professional artist, Guy Watts, who has been based in Frome just over 14 years, will be exhibiting his pen and ink work in his studio.
Guy decided now was a good time to enable the general public to browse at their leisure though originals, prints and cards in a cosy setting.
Guy will be open for three days only, between Thursday 14th and Saturday 16th December, 11-5pm on all three days. He will be selling his latest range of distinctive black and white cards alongside unframed and framed prints and originals at his house 9, Wine Street, which is an old narrow street in a conservation area of Frome.
“Frome has been an amazing place to strike out as an artist, which I did do back in 2007,” explained Guy. “I have been very fortunate in finding this special town back in 2003 after moving from Newcastle upon Tyne.”
Guy now works full-time on his meticulous pen and ink drawings and has had his work shown in various south-west locations, including the Royal West of England Academy and Frome’s own once a month independent market. Guy is also a member of the Society of Fine Graphic Artists (ASGFA) which has allowed him to exhibit further afield in London
His ideas are based on dreams, meditations and taking in the surrounding countryside, either on foot or by bicycle. He can be contacted on 07845 530572 or view his website at www.guywatts.co.uk
