A SECOND-HAND book sale, containing books donated by the public, is due to take place later this month.
The Cheese & Grain’s Flea and Antique Market is host to this latest book sale by Frome Heritage Museum on Wednesday 31st August, between 9am and 2pm. Admission is free.
All the books on sale have been donated by the public with profits going to the Museum, located on North Parade.
David Lassman, museum press officer said, “As the museum is entirely run by volunteers and admission to its exhibitions is free, this is an excellent way of raising funds towards the £53 a day it costs to keep the museum running.’
“If previous book sales the museum has run are anything to go by, it stands to gain a lot of well-needed funds, and hopefully for those buying book, there should be a bargain or two to be found!”
The Frome Heritage Museum currently has a number of exhibitions on display including Literary Frome and an array of Christening Gowns.
