LOCAL people came together to run the Bath Half Marathon this month for the charity Time is Precious.
The charity which is based in Coleford, raises funds to buy equipment in order to improve facilities in local children’s hospitals and wards.
Nicky Halford founder and trustee of Time is Precious said, “This year we had an amazing 160 runners taking part in Bath Half, which took place on Sunday 12th March. This year Frome boxer Ryan Wheeler also ran for the charity.
“We have now given over £250,000 of equipment to our local hospitals and Bath Half is our biggest fundraiser. Last year we raised £18,000.”
Once again, this year Frome-based transport company Shaun Burton Transport sponsored the runners.
