THE Frome and District Cribbage League held a presentation night at The Royal Oak on Tuesday 18th April following the end of the 2022/23 season.
Prizes and money were awarded to league winners Chesterhouse B and the runners up, King’s Head C in Coleford, with the Blue Boar A team taking the prized wooden spoon for the being the strongest team of the league.
The team knockout tournament was won by Chesterhouse A and the runners up were Chesterhouse B. John and Derek Gainey from Chesterhouse B won the doubles knockout with singles knockout winner being awarded to Rich Chapman (Vine Tree). The Captains’ Cup tournament was won by Rob Hiscox (King’s Head C).
The summer league is due to start in May and will be held on Tuesday evenings at the Chesterhouse Club. Anyone interested in joining this doubles league, please contact the league secretary on naomibates1980@gmail.com
