Frome and District Probus Club held its annual barbecue in July in the garden of East Woodlands village hall.
John Hedges reports, “Club members were joined by their wives and friends of Probus and were welcomed with a Pimm’s.
“They brought their own meats and some wine and beer, while the club provided salads followed by strawberries and cream.
“The weather was a little changeable, but in true British fashion the guests ignored a slight shower, enjoyed the rainbows, and the event was very successful.”
