At Trinity First School, the whole school has recently been learning about why Easter is so important for Christians and had a special visit from Danny the donkey.
A school spokesperson said, “Each day we have come together to learn about the significant events in a fun and interactive way – Palm Sunday, the Last Supper, Good Friday and Easter Sunday. We are so lucky to have a brilliant team of volunteers from Trinity Church who have really made the learning come alive for the children.
“The children have loved visiting Trinity Church, sharing bread and especially meeting Danny the donkey who came to school to make our Palm Sunday learning really special!”
