As local landlords will know, the private rented sector has been undergoing particular scrutiny and sweeping changes recently, as the Government seeks to ensure a safe and robust provision for the generations who rent rather than own their own homes.
Keeping on top of the changing and additional regulations and legislation can be challenging. In this atmosphere it can be easy for even the most well-intentioned landlords to fall behind on compliance.
Local property management and letting agency company, Stuarts Residential, are inviting landlords to a one-hour Q&A session at the Cheese and Grain in Frome on September 25th to learn more about the most recent changes and to discuss areas that are of interest to them. Alongside the Stuarts Residential team, will be guest speakers including a solicitor from Harris and Harris and Tamsin Lund, owner of Pebble Money.
Stuarts Residential have just opened in Frome, expanding on their existing bases in Wells and Bridgwater.
Stuart Nash, managing director of Stuarts Residential said, “We recognise that Frome is a diverse, independently-minded town and has become increasingly popular in recent years. The vast amount of creativity and can-do attitude in the town mirrors our own ethos and we are very much looking forward to working with landlords to help them deliver a great experience to their tenants.
“We intend to run these Q&A seminars on a regular basis, however if landlords are unable to attend, we would be very happy to meet separately and discuss any queries. Equally if you are looking to let your property in the near future, we’d love to hear from you.”
