Frome Rainbows have been helping the community recently by raising funds for Fair Frome, which runs the town’s food bank.
As part of a Guiding Thinking Day challenge, 2nd Frome Rainbows completed odd jobs, including cleaning their rooms, laying tables, dusting, washing up and gardening.
Through their efforts, they raised £90 for Fair Frome and bought food from the charity’s urgent list.
The charity’s senior coordinator, Lenka Grimes, visited the group to talk about Fair Frome, which also runs Food @ Five, the Furniture and Baby Basics Bank, the Assistance Scheme, and the ‘Grab and Go’ breakfast bags.
