Frome Friends of Palestine is welcoming Jewish Israeli-American anthropologist, author, lecturer and political activist Jeff Halper to speak at Trinity Hall on Monday 14th October.
Jeff Halper is due to speak about the tragic and dramatic developments in Palestine/Israel over the past year.
A member of Frome Friends of Palestine, Gerard Crawshaw, said, “With the focus on the big picture, he asks, what is our pushback? How are the Palestinians and their allies ratcheting up their struggle for Palestinian rights and, most importantly, what political programmes for the future are Palestinians formulating?
“Jeff Halper has lived in Israel since 1973. He is the director of the Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions (ICAHD) and a co-founder of One Democratic State Campaign.”
This event will be held at Trinity Hall, Trinity Street, Frome, BA11 3DE on Monday 14th October at 7pm.
