FROME Town kicked off its pre-season with a win away to Keynsham.
The club reports, “Tonight (2nd July) saw the first preseason friendly take place against Keynsham, where six second half goals made for an entertaining match.
“We waited a long time for football to be back and after the first 45 minutes we found ourselves 1-0 down.
“But there are goals in this team and the second half showed the quality of finishing. James Ollis, Alex Monks and Jon Davies all got their names on the scoresheet, but a brace from Rex Mannings set him apart.
“A great first match back against tough opponents.”
