Frome started the day off by winning a crucial toss and deciding to bat on what looked an excellent batting wicket.
Opening batters Paul Sanger and Robin Lett continued their fine opening partnership as they looked to fill their boots on a batsmen-friendly day. The pair brought up their 100 partnership in just the 17th over and Frome were set for a big score
Sanger was the first man to go, caught on the boundary for 63, with the partnership finally broken with the score at 165. This however only brought the explosive and in-form Reece Croker to the crease.
Croker wasted no time in getting going as he hit three maximums in his first 9 balls. Lett at the other end brought up his hundred off 96 balls, whilst Croker quickly got to his 50 off just 24 balls.
Next ball Croker was dismissed as Frome were 270-2 with 10 overs still remaining. Lett also finally went for a fantastic 149 after being run out.
Taunton St Andrews managed to pick up some late wickets and get some valuable points as Frome finished the innings on 340-8 off 45 overs.
In reply, the away side lost their captain Jenkins LBW to Barton with only 21 on the board. It got worse for Taunton as they lost three wickets for just 2 runs, leaving themselves with a mountain to climb at 41-4.
Horler was a positive for the away side as he played positively for his 40 before being bowled by Lett.
Frome continued to take wickets and reduced Taunton St Andrews to 160-9 with Charlie Smith picking up three wickets.
J.Woodland and B.Walford put on a last wicket partnership of 33 to get some more valuable points for the away side after being outplayed for the majority of the match.
Frome eventually won when Smith bowled Walford for 7 and Frome completed a 147 run victory.
