The Toy Library had a great time at the Independent on 2nd September, with their stall buzzing with children playing with their great range of toys and games.
Organiser Sue Willis said, “A special highlight was the electric car, which entertained children for several hours!
“We had great fun at the Independent, meeting families new to Frome and some locals that hadn’t heard of the Toy Library before. It was perfect weather for playing and relaxing after the hard work of shopping!
“We also spoke with parents about sponsoring the Toy Library – we’ve come to the end of our funding and have set the ambitious challenge of reaching 100 sponsors to keep the service going. We have a handful to start with, but really need to hear from individuals or businesses who can help us reach our target.
“Becoming a sponsor is now even easier as we have a brand new website – www.fromechildrensfestival.org. You can now find out about all our events including the Toy Library, donate or sponsor us and become a Toy Library member. Have a look and help us reach that target!”
