PUPILS at Trinity First School were doused from head to toe in coloured powder recently, when they took part in the school’s Colour Run on Saturday 20th May, raising £1,023 for the school.
The run started with a warm up before runners were covered with colourful powder whilst running, walking or skipping around a few obstacles, and completing a lap or two of the school field.
A Year 3 pupil said, “There was a cool net to crawl under and you could jog around with your friends and it was a good day.”
A Year 4 pupil said, “The powder was everywhere and it was nice and fun and colourful.”
A spokesperson for the school said, “Thank you again to everyone who attended and supported our Colour Run and to Phoenix Electrical Contractors, South West Ltd for your sponsorship.”
The school’s next event is their summer fete on Saturday 1st July 12pm to 4pm.
