Pupils at Oakfield Academy supported the school travel challenge organised by Frome Town Council.
The school welcomed a number of visitors during the week, and enjoyed activities such as pedal-powered smoothies, a BMX stunt display, design a safety helmet/skateboard competition, roller-blading and skateboarding sessions, and Dr Bike – mechanic bike checks.
All pupils were encouraged to make their own way to school and points were awarded on a score card to each pupil who participated.
Staff and pupils thoroughly enjoyed the annual event and would like to thank project officer, Emma Parker, for her assistance organising the event.
