Children in Frome raised £600 for a local cancer counselling charity recently when they wore pink, purple and blue clothes to school.
Vallis First School raised the funds on Friday 20th March, when the children wore colourful clothes to support We Hear You (WHY).
Pupils from Rode and Norton St Philip First Schools, which share an executive headteacher with Vallis School, also took part, raising an additional £407.
The funds raised will go towards WHY’s urgent appeal to raise £55,000 by 31st March or risk closure. The charity offers counselling services to family, friends and carers of those with cancer.
