Selwood Academy says goodbye to long-serving colleagues

SELWOOD School’s end of summer term heralded farewells to colleagues who have served Selwood so faithfully for many years.

Jane Larman from the school reports, “Mrs Julie Turner has been part of the Year 5 team for an amazing 27 years!  Mr Godfrey Priest has spent 25 years in the PE department and Mrs Suzanne Westlake has also been teaching PE at Selwood for 16 years.  They will be greatly missed.

“Mrs Helen Farleigh received a long service award for 25 years working in the school, initially in the resource centre and now in the classroom as cover supervisor.”
