THE Frome Toy Library, part of Purple Elephant, is popping up all over the place for the next few weeks.
In an ordinary week, as well as offering hundreds of carefully selected games and toys for children to loan-at-home, the Toy Library runs two stay-and-play sessions in two regular town centre venues.
However, this February and March, the baby, toddler and pre-school fun will be on the road including setting up in two local villages.
The Toy Library has already popped up at The Cheese and Grain and the MCA hut in the past fortnight and now, as the town-centre library is temporarily closed, the Toy Library stay-and-plays will be appearing on the following Wednesdays from 1pm to 3pm.
The play sessions, which are free with a suggested donation of £1 per child, will be at The Hub in Coleford on 23rd February, RISE on Whittox Lane on 2nd March and at Chilcompton Village Hall on 9th March.
The sessions (which need to be pre-booked) are open to all families with young children and are a wonderful opportunity to meet parents, carers and other little ones.
Anyone wishing to know more about how to borrow Toy Library toys all year round can also enquire about membership. Those looking to access early-years parenting support and advice will be able to speak with the organisation’s support worker who will be on hand to offer advice and sign-posting for local services.
Booking essential. Information on website www. purpleelephant.org.uk/toy-library/ or email info@PurpleElephant.org.uk
