DID you hear about the murder in Buckland Dinham? The Buckland History Group will be talking about the murder that happened back in 1861.
The event was reported all round the country and even in Ireland and Scotland. During a meeting on Thursday 25th January at 7.30pm in Buckland Dinham Village Hall, all will be revealed about this sad event.
Peter Corbett, one of the group members will be telling the tale of two agricultural labourers walking home to Buckland after looking for work many miles away – except one of them never made it home.
