THE new-look Somerset Sight Mobile Advisory Service (MAS) is back on the road and coming to Frome.
The MAS is a vital service, travelling the length and breadth of the county for service users, family members and carers to visit for information, low vision aids, and advice from Donna, the mobile operator.
The MAS will next be in Frome on Monday 28th June, Monday 26th July, and Tuesday 31st August, stopping at ASDA from 10.30am – 3.30pm.
About the service’s makeover, the charity said, “During the last lockdown Somerset Sight’s Mobile Advisory Service went for a dramatic refit.
“The MAS is a much-loved and valued part of Somerset Sight, but needed attention and is now warmer, lighter and has improved seating and storage space. Everyone who visits can’t stop raving about how fantastic it looks and how nice it is to see it back on the road.”
