TICKETS are selling fast for Frome Musical Theatre Company’s production of the musical comedy hit ‘Sister Act’ which will be performed from Tuesday 10th – Saturday 14th May at the Frome Memorial Theatre.
“Sister Act tells the hilarious story of Deloris Van Cartier, a disco diva whose life takes a surprising turn when she witnesses a murder. Under protective custody she is hidden in the one place she won’t be found – a convent,” explains Sarah Plenty from FMTC.
“Cleverly disguised as a nun and under the suspicious watch of the Mother Superior, Deloris helps her fellow sisters find their voices as she rediscovers her own.
“This musical is a sparkling tribute to the all- embracing power of friendship, sisterhood and music. It features fabulous dance routines and sensational songs inspired by Motown, soul and disco and based on the smash hit 1992 film starring Whoopi Goldberg.
“You won’t want to miss this so get your tickets early to avoid disappointment.
Tickets are on sale from the Memorial Theatre box office open 9.30am – 1pm Monday to Saturday, on 462795 or by booking online at www.fromememorialtheatre.org.uk
