Sofar Sounds Frome, whose volunteer team have been putting on secret, intimate gigs for 14 months now, are attracting bigger names all the time.
Organisers say, “Danny Goffey (drummer from Brit award-winning band Supergrass) came fresh from the studio and played four of his new original songs to a lucky crowd, sitting knee to knee on the floor of a beautiful Frome residence.
“Each month, three different artists play a short set (20 minutes) to a crowd who doesn’t know who will play until the night. The venue isn’t revealed until the day before by email. All registration and payments are done online in advance. Spaces are limited, so sign up in advance!”
