BOXER Ryan Wheeler, increased his undefeated record to 14 bouts, taking away the International Challenge Belt and climbing to 11th ranked in the GB Super Featherweight division.
Ryan, known as the ‘Somerset Stallion,’ took to the ring again on Friday 8th June at Ashton Gate Stadium against Nicaraguan Lesther Cantillano, taking home the International Challenge belt after an 8-round points decision bout.
Ryan claims it wasn’t his best performance, but says he is happy to come away with the win and is already looking for his next challenge, which he hopes will be fighting for a recognised title, such as the Southern Area Title, which will see him fight his first professional 10-rounds.
After his latest win, BoxRec, boxing’s official record keeper, ranks Ryan Wheeler at 11th in the GB Super Featherweight division out of 54 fighters.
