Staff at Aggregate Industries’ southern regional office based at Vallis Road, Frome, organised a charity music night on Saturday 27th October.
The Halloween-themed evening raised £450 in aid of Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance.
The company reports, “Music provide by our logistics compliance manager, Steve ” The Voice” Askew, went down a storm with a Halloween-themed set of 50s, 60s 70s and 80s favourites.
“A special thanks to Caroline for kindly donating Foxy’s Den at Hapsford, enabling us to hold the event. Thanks also to local business Danella’s (Tea for two), The Lighthouse (night’s stay for 2), the George Hotel (champagne), Nunney Catch Cafe (breakfast for 2) and the George at Nunney (meal for 2) for donating raffle prizes. Thanks to all who came and everyone who entered the raffle. Thanks to Wendy Hall, Sue Chambers, Kate Appleby and Sharon Wakefield for helping to organise the event.
