SPRINGMEAD School held a successful annual poetry performance final which the school described as “encouraging”.
The school reports, “All children in the main school take part, with different poems for each class. Three class finalists then compete, with a winner chosen from each class.
“The children were brave, confident and expressive. The high standard of performances made the task of judging almost impossible for guest judge, Tess Baker-Hytch, who has worked in education for over 30 years.”
