Frome Country Market is on the lookout for local people with baking, crafting or gardening skills who would like to join its weekly co-operative market.
The market, held at the Cheese and Grain each Thursday morning between 8am and 12pm, is run as a co-operative and each member pays only commission on sales; there is no charge for a table.
Market secretary Sue Phillips said, “We’d love for people interested in having stalls, or just having a look around, to pop in for a chat and further details; everyone here is very friendly!
“At the market you will find fresh, locally grown and lovingly tended fruit and veg, potted plants for indoors or your garden and freshly-picked garden flowers.
“We also supply eggs – hens, bantam, duck and even quail – and of course local honey, jams and chutneys, freshly-baked bread, cakes and savouries together with a selection of delicious ‘free from’ bakes, for those with allergies or special diets.
“Everything is either grown or freshly-made locally.
“Also if you are looking for that unusual, unique handmade gift, come and see what is available.
“Do come into the Cheese and Grain, you won’t be disappointed!”
