The latest round of applications for funding from Frome Town Council’s Grants Committee closes on Monday 28th October but there is still time to apply.
Funding of up to £3,000 is available for charities, groups and organisations that can demonstrate:
How the project will support Frome Town Council’s ambition ‘to build a town that is environmentally sustainable, inclusive and prosperous with a community that is more resilient, happier and better able to shape its own future.’
A need for the project / existing gap in provision.
A direct positive impact for Frome residents.
How the project will be financially sustainable in the long term, independent of Frome Town Council funding.
Chair of the grants committee, Cllr Andy Jones said, “This grants round is closing on Monday 28th October, so there is still time to submit your application. The grants committee will review all the applications ahead of the next meeting on Wednesday 20th November. If you think that your project will have a direct and positive impact on Frome and its residents, we encourage you to apply for funding.”
The Community Grants support a wide variety of projects and initiatives and recent successful applications have included Frome Families for the Future’s Reconnecting with Rodden Riverside project, a young people’s Wellbeing Café with Focus Frome and Frome Birth Talk’s baby loss support group.
