If you hurry, there may still be time to enter a team of 4 – at only £ 12 a table – in the ever-popular Frome Festival Quiz, hosted as always by charismatic quiz master, Paul Hewitt.
The winning team will take home prizes of four bottles of good wine, donated from a local cellar, as well as the prestigious Martin Bax shield and individual shields to keep. You will have a chance to pit your wits against last year’s runaway triumph by Three As and a C, as well as such previous winners including Fanny the Wonder Dog and The Chocolate Teapots. To add to the fun, Paul promises to include the ever-popular Heads and Tails round.
As always, the evening will feature a grand raffle, with prizes including a stunning plant from Barters Nurseries, a generous cheese platter from Somerset Deli (always present in our Wednesday and Friday markets) and a meal voucher for two from a local restaurant.
The quiz takes place at Frome Rugby Football Club on Thursday 11th July from 7.30pm – 10.30pm, with the bar open throughout the evening.
