FROME College Year 13 student India Haines has received the Silver Award in the international Biology Olympiad 2021.
The college report, “Over 8,500 students worldwide took part this year, and only the top 5% can achieve a Gold, 10% Silver & Bronze. The tests are difficult; paper 1 is based on knowledge from A Level, and paper 2 covers the whole understanding and further reading of the subject.
“There were a lot more Highly Commended this year. Well done to everyone who participated – Alfie Bayfield Farrell, Georgia Kitchen, Niah Earl, Callum Doyle, Ilana Stanton-Drake, Charlotte Gardener, May Southgate, Kate O’Connor, Alex Lakin, Sanaya Joshi, Ethan Diment, Charlie-John Leatham, and Alice Brenni. They should all be very proud of their hard work, commitment, and outstanding achievements!”
