Frome College year 11 student, Izzy Hobbs, took part in the Rotary Chef district finals on Saturday 1st February, winning a place in the regional finals in Hampshire.
Frome College reports, “We were competing against other schools in Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire. Izzy wowed the judges with her twice-baked soufflé, salmon on roasted vegetables, and pannacotta with biscuit tuille. Izzy has successfully secured her place going through to the next round, the regional finals in Hampshire.
“It was a very proud moment for us all and an amazing result – especially considering Izzy took her GCSE practical food exam just a couple of days later.
“We wish her good luck in the regional finals.”
