Local Frome charity, We Hear You, won the award for ‘Charity of the Year’ at the Somerset Business Awards, held at the Wellsprings Leisure Centre in Taunton on Friday 20th October.
The awards, organised by the Somerset Chamber of Commerce, celebrate the success of businesses across Somerset.
We Hear You won the ‘Charity of the Year’ award in recognition for their work in supporting local families who are affected by cancer or other life threatening conditions.
Gemma Wilkes, fundraising & communications manager at We Hear You said, “We are absolutely delighted to have won this award. We were selected as finalists last year, which was an incredible achievement, so to have won this year is amazing.
We would like to say thank you to the Somerset Business Awards for this fantastic opportunity and to Clarke Willmott for selecting us. As a small charity we are very grateful to have received this recognition.”
