FROME Music School have now started their summer term, and are inviting children to come and try their hand at music after school.
The clubs are as follows:
Mondays 5-6pm:
Get to the Notes, for 9-10yrs: Preparing children reading notation before and during embarking on an instrument – through games, graphic scores and singing. £6 per session.
Tuesdays 4-4.50pm:
Next Steps, for 7- 8 yrs: This club aims to explore more complex rhythm, co-ordinaton, instruments, singing in parts and creating music together as a small group to develop aural and listening skills. It will also introduce music notation through song and modes, giving children a foundation to learn an instrument. £5 per session.
Thursdays 4.10-5pm
Starting Out, for 5-6 yrs: This club aims to explore more complex rhythm, co-ordinaton, instruments, singing in parts and creating music together as a small group to develop aural and listening skills.
