HUNDREDS of superhero and fantasy fans flocked to Frome last weekend, dressed as their favourite heroes and villains for the town’s second Comic Con event.
After the success of last year’s inaugural Frome Comic Con, local company Norté Promotions extended this year’s event to span two whole days, packed full of traders, exhibitors and some very special guests.
Luring visitors to the dark side was David Prowse, who played Darth Vader in the original Star Wars trilogy, who thrilled fans with the opportunity to take photos, sign autographs and to join him for an exclusive Q&A session at the Archangel.
Other highlights included a Party Family Cosplay Ball, a superhero charity football match, a celebration on the final night ending with fireworks and the many visitors filling the streets of Frome in their cosplay outfits.
