VISITORS to Frome’s town centre on Saturday 30th March were treated to a surprise ‘flashmob’ from a group of furry friends trained by Frome K9.
Located in the precinct outside Not Just Pets, owners and their dogs performed a choreographed heel-work routine, that they had just learnt that morning.
Frome K9 instructor Cheryl Blake said, “The flashmob was a demonstration of our dogs, what we do and to show the connection we have with them. It was something we choreographed last minute, just a bit of fun really. We told the members it was a secret mission, and they found out what they were doing that morning!”
Janine from Not Just Pets said, “Head trainer at Frome K9, Sharon, just said to me, ‘Can you be free on the 30th March and provide me with a bit of electricity?’ So I said yes, of course, because we always support them and they support us. She said I can’t tell you what’s going on, but tell people to be there around 12. It was all very exciting!”
