SUSTAINABLE Frome will discuss moving to 100% renewable energy, at its next meeting this Thursday, 2nd March.
The ‘One Planet Frome’ session will be held at Frome Cricket Club on Rodden Road. The meeting will look at ways to select, filter, and use information about climate change, and how to make the transition to 100% renewable energy, both as individuals and the town as a whole.
The session will explore the different ways people come to terms with climate change, and how to communicate its reality and the need for action with others. This will include looking at Frome Town Council’s ambition for the town to become fossil-fuel free by 2046.
The evening will start at 6.45pm for those who would like to eat together (please bring something vegetarian to share); the meeting gets going from 7.30pm.
