A Local swimming group is calling on former members and the community to share their photographs and historical items as it prepares to celebrate its 150th anniversary next year.
Frome Swimming Club will mark the historic milestone in 2027 and is actively collecting memorabilia to create a lasting record of its history.
The club is searching for old newspaper cuttings, programmes, trophies, and other items from anyone who has been involved over the years, whether as a swimmer, coach, volunteer, or poolside spectator.
Club member Joanne said, “Whether your connection to the club was 5 years or 50 years ago, every memory helps tell the story of our club and the people who have made it what it is today.
“If you have anything you’d be willing to share, originals can be returned if required, we’d be delighted to hear from you. Thank you for helping us celebrate 150 years of our swim club. We can’t wait to look back at the people, achievements and memories that have made our club so special.”
