DO you want to know more about the recent independent history of Frome? Would you like to hear directly from some of the people who have helped build the foundations for this town being an inspiring place to live?
This is your chance to join the dots between then and now. Maybe you’ve recently moved to Frome and want to learn about what has gone before. Or maybe you just want to hear a story or two again.
“Come to this informal evening chat on Tuesday 17th October from 6.30pm for a 7pm at The Welsh Mill Hub,” says a spokesperson for organisers, Edventure Frome. “Some of those who helped change Frome’s green, political and artistic offerings over the last 30 years; Annabelle Macfadyen, Peter Macfadyen, Katy Duke, Cordelia Rowlatt, Chris Smaje and Sheila Gore will set the scene and share how it started and what happened. The chat will be facilitated by Future Shed lead Sue Palmer, with plenty of time for questions and discussion, with hot drinks and a few snacks. Search for ‘How did it start’ on Eventbrite.”
Future Shed is part of Green & Healthy Frome, a partnership programme of Edventure Frome, Frome Medical Practice and Frome Town Council taking action on health and climate funded by the National Lottery’s Climate Action Fund.
