Tall Trees Kindergarten in Frome has for the eighth year running, achieved the prestigious gold ‘Food for Life Served Here’ award for serving fresh, organic, local and honest meals to children in Frome.
More and more, parents want to know where the food their children are eating food comes from and how it has been made. The Gold ‘Food for Life Served Here’ award guarantees that nutrition, animal welfare, the environment and children’s health are considered in all decisions.
After a rigorous on-site inspection, Tall Trees Kindergarten have proved that in addition to meeting the national early years food and drink guidelines, they prepare meals using a high proportion of organic ingredients, as well as a selection of ingredients produced locally or in the UK, and are making healthy eating the easy option.
